Solar Design

Solar design is a volume business with a zero-tolerance review step at the end of it. A layout that looks fine on screen still fails if the fire setback is two inches short, if the conductor is undersized for the ambient temperature, or if the reviewer's preferred sheet order is not followed. That last one costs as much time as the first two.

We produce solar drawing sets as a production line with those failure modes designed out. Each jurisdiction your team works in gets its own checklist covering setbacks, pathway widths, structural attachment requirements, labelling and submission format, built from the authority's current published guidance and from the comments your own submissions have attracted. Every set is checked against that list by a senior engineer before it reaches you.

The result is a set that goes out the door with your stamp on it and comes back approved. Clients typically see their comment rate fall by two thirds within the first quarter, which matters more to their install schedule than the drawing price ever did.
