Careers at ASAV
Production work on real international projects, with training that actually gets budgeted for.
Production work, done properly, with people who check each other
We hire people who want to get good at a craft. Most of our senior checkers and team leads joined as trainees, which is only possible because we invest in structured training rather than expecting people to absorb standards by osmosis.
If you like drawings that have to be right, data that has to hold tolerance, and feedback that is specific, you will fit here.
See open rolesWhat we offer beyond the salary
Structured training, paid for
Six to twelve weeks of formal induction on standards and software, then a named mentor. Software certifications are funded when they are relevant to your track.
A visible progression ladder
Trainee to draughtsman to senior to checker to team lead, with written criteria for each step and reviews twice a year rather than whenever someone remembers.
International project exposure
You will work on live projects in the UK, EU, US, Middle East and Australia, and learn the codes and standards that govern them.
Predictable hours
Shifts are scheduled to cover client time zones, published in advance, and rotated fairly. Overtime is voluntary and paid.
Standard benefits, properly administered
Health cover for you and dependants, provident fund, paid leave, annual bonus tied to a published performance framework.
A team that reviews each other
Two-stage QC means your work gets read carefully by someone senior every single day. That is the fastest way to improve at this job.
