CAD Modelling
3D modelling, mechanical parts, assemblies and visualisation-ready geometry.
CAD Modelling
Not all 3D work is building information modelling. A bracket that needs manufacturing drawings, a plant skid layout, a product assembly, a piece of geometry destined for visualisation or 3D print — these are mechanical and general CAD problems with their own conventions and tolerancing requirements.
We model parts and assemblies parametrically so design intent survives change, produce manufacturing drawings with proper GD&T where required, and generate the exchange formats downstream processes need. Reverse engineering from a physical measurement set or a scan is routine work here.
Where the model is for visualisation rather than manufacture we say so and build accordingly — clean topology, correct scale, sensible material assignment — rather than delivering a manufacturing model that renders badly or a render mesh nobody can machine from.
What you receive
Every item below is issued in your own template, with your layer conventions, title block and revision scheme.
- Parametric part models with editable feature history
- Assembly models with mates, constraints and interference checks
- Manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances and GD&T
- Bill of materials and parts list generation
- Sheet metal development and flat patterns
- Weldment and fabrication detailing
- Reverse-engineered models from measurements or scan data
- Exchange formats — STEP, IGES, Parasolid, STL
- Exploded views and technical illustration for documentation
- Visualisation-ready geometry with clean topology and materials
