An extension of your team, not a faceless vendor
Most firms that reach out to us are not short of work — they are short of drafting hours. ASAV exists to absorb that overflow permanently.
We were set up in 2014 as a small drafting cell serving two UK underfloor-heating contractors. Today we run production teams across solar design, mechanical and architectural CAD, BIM, GIS, LiDAR and photogrammetry, with a technology group that builds the websites and internal tools our clients ask for along the way.
What has not changed is the operating model. You get a named project manager, a fixed team that learns your CAD standards and title blocks, and a QC checklist we build with you during onboarding. No rotating pool of freelancers, no re-explaining your layer naming convention every month.
Your standards, not ours
Templates, layer conventions, sheet sizes, calculation methods and review checklists are captured during onboarding and applied on every job after that.
Two-stage quality control
A senior checker reviews every deliverable against your project checklist before it leaves us. Redline corrections are free and turned around same day where possible.
Capacity that scales in days
Peak season, a framework award, a tender deadline — we add trained seats from the same team rather than starting from scratch.
Nine practice areas, one delivery process
Pick a single service or hand us the whole workflow — survey data in, coordinated drawings and datasets out.
Solar Design
Proposal drawings, permit packages, commercial concepts and as-builts for residential and C&I photovoltaic projects.
UFH / Underfloor Heating
Heat-loss calculations, loop design, manifold zoning and tender documentation for wet underfloor heating systems.
Underfloor Designs
Drafting, quick calculations, Linear-based production and tender documentation for underfloor heating contractors.
CAD Engineering
Architectural plans, production drafting, BIM modelling and 3D CAD modelling across building and infrastructure projects.
GIS
Utility mapping, cadastral digitisation, topographic mapping and land-use classification with validated attribute data.
LiDAR
Point cloud classification, bare-earth extraction, utility and bathymetric processing, and mobile mapping production.
Photogrammetry
Aerial triangulation, planimetric compilation, DTM/DEM generation and orthophoto production from aerial and UAV imagery.
Technology Services
Website design and development, digital marketing and mobile app marketing for technical and industrial businesses.
Staff Augmentation
Contractual, permanent, periodic and offshore resourcing for engineering, design and geospatial teams.
Reasons clients stay for years
Outsourcing only works when the hand-off stops costing you time. These are the things we get right so it doesn't.
Turnarounds you can quote against
Standard residential solar or UFH layouts return in 24–48 hours; commercial permit sets and BIM packages run to an agreed programme with milestone dates, not vague promises.
Confidentiality taken seriously
Mutual NDA before any file transfer, per-project access control, no personal cloud accounts, and full IP assignment of everything we produce for you.
Engineers, not just CAD operators
Our teams include electrical, mechanical and civil engineers, chartered surveyors and GIS analysts — so queries come back with a recommendation attached, not a blank comment.
Priced per deliverable
Fixed price per drawing, per plan set or per square kilometre so you can build it into your own quote. Monthly dedicated-seat contracts when volume justifies it.
Revisions handled properly
Two revision rounds are included on every deliverable as standard, and any correction arising from our own error is never billable.
One person to call
A named project manager in your time zone window owns the job end to end — status, queries, escalation. You never chase a shared inbox.
A predictable five-step engagement
The same sequence whether you send us one drawing or a twelve-month framework.
Brief & feasibility
You send the survey, sketch, point cloud or scope note. Within one working day you get a written scope, price, programme and a list of anything we need clarified.
Standards capture
On a first engagement we spend a short session capturing your templates, layer standards, calculation basis and QC checklist. This is done once and reused permanently.
Production
A named team produces the work, logging queries as they arise rather than guessing. You can see progress against the milestone list at any point.
Two-stage QC
A senior checker independently reviews the deliverable against your checklist and the applicable code or accuracy specification. Findings are corrected before issue.
Issue & support
Native files plus PDFs delivered on your naming convention. Two revision rounds included, and we stay available through your own approval or client-review process.
Sectors we produce for every week
Domain familiarity is why our drawings need fewer comments.
What working with us is actually like
Comments from long-running accounts, lightly edited for length.
We handed ASAV our permit drawing backlog expecting to babysit it. Six weeks in, the AHJ comments dropped to almost nothing and I stopped checking every sheet. They understood the local setback rules better than the last two consultants we used.
Our heat-loss calculations and manifold layouts now come back the next morning with the pipe centres already matched to the screed build-up we specified. It has taken a genuine bottleneck out of our tender process.
The LiDAR classification was the part I was most nervous about outsourcing. Their bare-earth deliverable passed our independent QA on the first submission across all forty tiles, which had not happened with our previous supplier.
Three dedicated CAD seats for two years now. They know our title block, our layer standard and which of our project managers wants what. Effectively they are our drawing office.
We asked for as-built drawings and ended up also getting a small internal portal from their technology team to track them. Rare to find both capabilities under one roof.
Cadastral mapping for eleven municipalities, delivered on schedule through a monsoon season that pushed everything else back. The attribute QC was cleaner than our in-house baseline.
Send us one drawing and judge us on it
Most clients begin with a single paid pilot deliverable — a plan set, a UFH layout, one LiDAR tile. You see the quality, the turnaround and the communication before committing to anything larger.
